Rooms were very good. We had adjoining rooms which was fun. The shower was amazing. Breakfast was excellent . The bar grill menu was small only one family member had a bad meal .

The lovely lady on reception gave us an upgrade - it was fabulous!! We really loved the place - the staff were fab, breakfast was gorgeous and the whole atmosphere was very , very relaxing. The grounds are well worth walking around . We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Gorgeous cabin in stunning a woodland setting. We saw red squirrels, loads of different little garden birds and a hare - so it was fantastic to just sit and have a cup of tea on the veranda and watch the wildlife. Really peaceful and relaxing. Cabin is in a gated community of around 42 log cabins so feels secure and there is a river which runs along the bottom of the site. We had some lovely early morning walks with our dog along the river.

Breakfast was really lovely: I loved the charcuterie, the fresh fruit and the gorgeous bread! Kathleen was so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. I’d definitely stay here again . Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay here last weekend. Friendly staff, good hearty breakfast menu and a lovely bar with good Guinness which also had a fab evening food menu. Saturday evening was busier than the Sunday we are, so do book ahead for a table if that is something you need. Very affordable hotel also so Would definitely rebook. Thanks everyone for a comfortable, friendly experience 😊
