On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland's oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you'll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. The staff in this hotel are super kind and nice. Especially a super strong male receptionist even helped us carry our two super large suitcases up the stairs to the 1st floor with both hands at a time! Thank him so much!

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. Everything was perfect! The location, the interior, the beds were so darn comfy :) a walk-in shower, shower gel and shampoo were provided, the kitchen with all its appliances were new and in absolute perfect conditions! Walk into town was like 10 minutes. Overall it was just perfect!
