We loved that there was a good restaurant downstairs and the Bagpipe museum next door. We met a few bagpipe students. Very centrally located, a great value, comfortable and supports students and museum. The Royal Theater is across the street and we saw a play. Hot delicious breakfast off menu, staff super friendly

The hotel itself has gorgeous interior design and the member of staff at reception was lovely checking us in to our room, giving us complimentary glass of prosecco card and welcoming us. The wellness centre room including the sauna, heated loungers and plunge pool were great and we left feeling relaxed however we had intended to use the gym before assuming it was the same area but you need to book your slots in advance and get a separate key card.
This Boutique B&B was fabulous inside, the attention to detail in all aspects of the rooms both communal and our bedroom was excellent. Gary and Nigel clearly have an eye for interior design! We had missed that they served food (pre order) so missed that opportunity sadly but the breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice. The Porridge was the best I've tasted! Our room was lovely, very stylish and comfortable and loved the little touches, embroidered towels , robes, even chocolates were Ivy Bank stamped!
The decor was outstanding, all of the stunning artwork was a real delight and the attention to design and detail really stood out. A really impressive boutique hotel with a quirky interior to match.
Luxury in the heart of Edinburgh. Rooms are cosy, interior design lovely. Arran aromatics toiletries lovely, dressing gown, slippers all included.
Fantastic location. Calm and relaxing from the moment you enter the site. Spotless facilities. Fresh flowers and herbs in the toilets. Fab quirky artwork too! Home from home. Happy to return! Bothy itself roomier than expected, despite there being 5 of us. Gorgeous quirkiness to the interior design.. Loved the cosiness from the oven and the logs. Baked 8 fresh pizzas ( one at a time) Lovely private space outside. Superb for a family. excellent value. Friendly staff. Loved the place!
The interior designer/decorator of this gorgeous hotel is brilliant. The lush textures, the thoughtful touches, rich colors and color palettes, the coziness, quiet luxury and beauty of each room and area was just perfection. You wanted to just melt into a velvet chair or take tea next to the huge windows overlooking the city or read a book on a plush sofa in some cozy corner. Beautiful.
