The award-winning restaurant offers an à la carte menu based around ‘farm assured’ produce. The menus change through the seasons and offer fresh local Scottish produce. We feature a selection of hand-selected wines, craft-brewed Scottish beers and cider and bespoke gins from all over Scotland. We loved that there was a good restaurant downstairs and the Bagpipe museum next door. We met a few bagpipe students. Very centrally located, a great value, comfortable and supports students and museum. The Royal Theater is across the street and we saw a play. Hot delicious breakfast off menu, staff super friendly

In the heart of Edinburgh, a 5-minute walk from Waverley Rail Station, 28 York Place Hotel offers a lounge bar, free WiFi and bedrooms with views.

The hotel is housed in a listed 18th century Georgian townhouse which means we do not have a lift. We recommend guests who struggle with stairs consider a hotel with lift access. The atmostphere of the entire place was beautiful and clean. The staff were very friendly too. The location was very strategic for the places that we required espeiclaly the bus stop!
