Built in 1895, The Townhouse Aberfeldy - Rooms & Breakfast sits on the edge of Aberfeldy’s town centre, a rural town in Highland Pethshire. It is only 5 minutes' walk from the cafés, shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a cinema. The staff were AMAZING! So incredibly friendly and helpful. They really made us feel at home. The breakfast exceeded expectations. So much food and lots of options. I really loved the porridge. Great location in Aberfeldy with everything on your doorstep or a short walk away. Charming hotel with everything clean and new.

The award-winning restaurant offers an à la carte menu based around ‘farm assured’ produce. The menus change through the seasons and offer fresh local Scottish produce. We feature a selection of hand-selected wines, craft-brewed Scottish beers and cider and bespoke gins from all over Scotland. Piper's Tryst has a special charm and coolness factor, that IMHO, can't be matched by a corporate chain hotel or most independent hotels. While it's not modern it has been refurbished. It is comfortable and conveniently located to many excellent restaurants such as Kelp and Ardnamurchan, plus lots of great pubs. The Piper's Tryst has the x-factor. For instance, our room had a large wooden window that you could open enough to jump out if you chose. Which means you can ventilate your room well, unlike most hotel windows that only open a crack or not at all. The bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was simple but of superior quality, fresh cut fruit, porridge and fresh baked rolls, with good jam, not little plastic packets of nondescript jelly. The small bar was fun and though the restaurant was closed I heard it was a hidden gem...next time. Also there happened to be an impromptu band of 8 or 9 young musicians that played Scottish music to everyone's pleasure. And, your stay helps support the National Piping Center, located in the same building. Highly recommended.

Situated in the town of Pitlochry, Atholl Villa Guest House is a privately owned Victorian building, offering views of Ben Vrackie. It has free parking and retains many original features, such as open fireplaces and wooden sash windows. We had 2 bookings for this trip for a group of 10 people! James was very accomodating and helped us with everything,m. Even gave us amazing tips for our next stops in Portree. The guest house has a perfect location near the Atholl Wiskey Distillery, restaurants and town center. The place felt very homey and clean.

It is super well-presented and everything is thought out to the last detail. I really did not expect it to be as nice for the low price we paid.
