Beautiful location and view - peaceful and private.
Large room with luxury bathroom amenities. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of room for luggage. Nice couch sitting area and vanity. Sweet porch outside sliding door from room that looks out on valley. Host made breakfast for us to take along as we had to catch a ferry early. So nice and accommodating!

Such a beautifully appointed place to stay, with wonderful old paintings everywhere and a reading room with a grand piano. Our room was so cozy and beautiful! The shower was excellent. The tea selection was wonderful and they even had oat milk! Wonderful location, just a few minutes walk up to the hill to McCaig’s Tower and just a few minutes walk down the hill to the harbor and lots of bars and restaurants. Alec (sp?) was a lovely host.

On the good side -
The staff try hard. The decor has obviously been somewhat refreshed and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast room was comfy (altho designating/naming the tables as per rooms was confusing). The main restaurant was spacious with great views of the loch. Plenty of parking. Quiet location.
