And of course this has to be the best breakfast in all of Spain: you’ll be full for two days! This is my second time staying here and I’ll be back, it’s the absolute best place in the area, especially if traveling with a dog. The road is actually quite easy and there are signs for the hotel: be sure to ignore the straight uphill option and instead take the slightly longer route that goes towards the beach but then winds back up the hill. Hotel Rural Gaintza is set amongst the wineries and vineyards of Txakoli Gaintza, featuring beautiful views of the mountains. There is free Wi-Fi and free parking. Getaria is 8 minutes' walk away. We made the booking for our parents, and the hosts were very helpful and welcoming. They helped with transfer info, booking restaurants, and showing around. Great value, top hospitality, and lovely accommodation. Highly recommended. Thank you again for warm welcome.
