Altstadthotel Messerschmitt dates back to 1832. It offers modern rooms with flat-screen TV. Location is perfect, few minutes walking to the old town, easy accessible by bus. The hotel appearance and decor and atmosphere are all so nice. We are family of 03 and were given a suit. There was only one bathroom but the floor has toilets for sharing outside which is perfect for the person who stays at lower ground and not disturb those who sleep upstair. Staffs are nice.

The building is rich in history and we enjoyed seeing the many elements that were lovingly preserved. Our rooms were spacious and had a modern twist. We loved that we could open the windows and enjoy the wonderful view of the main street. The breakfast offered at the hotel was our favourite of the trip with plenty of options to choose from. Free overnight parking is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. We also loved exploring Dinkelsbühl. It was wonderful to walk the cobblestone streets - especially early in the morning before day visitors arrived. There is also a really fun playground that our daughter loved playing on.
