We really enjoyed our stay here! The reception staff and concierge were very friendly and professional – the concierge even arranged a great trip to the Great Wall with an English-speaking driver, which made everything so easy. The hotel offers beautiful views from the higher floors, a nice pool and spa, and even a robot that delivers items to your room – our kids absolutely loved that! Best of all, the hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, so when it rained or got too hot outside, we had food, shops, and entertainment literally inside the hotel. A wonderful and convenient place to stay!

Staying at the Orchid Hotel has been the highlight of my trip to Beijing. The hotel is neatly tucked away in a very quiet part of the Hutong not far from the historic Drum Tower (can be seen from the hotel’s rooftop). Many landmarks, restaurants, bars, and shops are conveniently located nearby and can be explored by foot — my preferred option. In terms of the space, the hotel’s interior has been carefully designed to preserve the characteristics of the very historic neighborhood while adding a bit of modern aesthetics. Finally, I very much enjoyed interacting with the staff, who were very friendly and eager to share the real Beijing experience with the guests.
