What a perfect location and the view from the room was incredible! The bed was super comfortable too. The breakfast also deserves a special mention - wide selection, good service and nothing beats eating it on the terrace overlooking Valparaíso! We would 100% recommend staying here for anyone coming to Valparaíso.

The oceanside property is fitted with five suites and two bungalows in total, each one with private bathroom facilities and private entrance. Some of them have ocean view and private terrace. Rooms at Hotel Boutique La Perouse are set up as double rooms but may be changed to become triple rooms upon request. It was very convenient to town so there was no need for a car and it had a beautiful ocean outlook. The Tapati parade even came straight past our cottage! The staff were also very accommodating, making sure my gluten free husband was well feed with the included breakfast.

The hospitality and friendliness of Alejandra and her family was especially wonderful for me, as a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable and I could see the ocean, including New Year fireworks!

It is located in the historical part of Valparaiso’s on Cerro Alegre. It’s a really beautiful and unique place, we stayed in a spacious room with its own door to the blooming and quiet garden. The area is safe and really lovely and so is Paula! We loved all her recommendations and she speaks perfect englisch and also good German which was super convenient for us ;) the breakfast is also great! Muchas gracias:)

The Hotel Palacio Astoreca, located in a charming historic building from 1923, a few meters from the Paseo Yugoslavo and in front of the city's Museum of Fine Arts, offers elegant rooms in its four categories with panoramic views of the city's hills and a large part of the city. from the bay, heated pool, hot tube and free WiFi connection. Beautiful hotel, charming and full of history. We got upgraded to one of their beautiful suites and we had an amazing stay. Breakfast was also beautiful and delicious! The attention to detail in everything is out of this world.

We prefer the boutique hotels like this one, with personal service, staff always doing their best to make your stay as perfect as they can. The location is quiet and about a 10 min walk to the beach. Evening meals are offered, and the menus are imaginative, and well prepared. The breakfast buffet offers sufficient variety that should please everybody. A big plus is the very good coffee machine, instead of the standard Nescafe instant stuff, offered in most places. For a 3/4 night stay, it’s ideal. There is no other good quality hotel in Zapallar.

It’s a historic building, so its quirks are also its charms. Breakfast was outstanding: various options, very well executed, excellent coffee. The owners are very nice, attentive, and helpful. The location is great, with lots of restaurants, bars, and sights within walking distance.
