All rooms at Hotel St. Josef have a TV, a refrigerator, and a tea/coffee maker. The receptionist was a really nice guy. We could check-in late without any issues and had to leave very early to catch the next flight. He volunteered to make us an early breakfast (at 5 AM) which we GREATLY appreciated and be there for our check-out. He provided us with a necessary bill for the stay and checked us out very quickly. The room was great, as you'd expect from the price and location.

Location is perfect - 7 min walk from station. A lot of shops and cafes around. Not far from tram station. Room was clean and comfortable. Reception was super friendly and helpful We came with the dog and even dog had a matras to sleep :)

Room and bathroom very clean and made up every day. Air conditioning, which was required during my trip due to the hot weather, worked extremely well. Bottled water was replaced every day in my room. Breakfast was fabulous. Eggs and bacon were cooked fresh as per my order on arrival in the restaurant. Breakfast served in their main restaurant which had great ambience…white tablecloths and candles all over the place. Waitresses and manager made you feel like home. Free at the front desk every day…sweet cherries, nectarines, bottled water and nespresso coffee. Easy on line checkout.

Alma Hotel enjoys a quiet location in a 19th-century building just 100 metres from Lake Zurich and near several tram and bus stops. The Zurich Opera House, as well as the

Bellevue Square and various restaurants and cafés, are within 500 metres. Alma Hotel was a fabulous hotel with lovely old rooms with ,modern twist only 15 mins walk from old town. A perfect hotel near the lake with a ladies only wellness and yoga area. They even had a guest kitchen where you could store food in the fridge and prepare meals or snacks. Quite eco friendly with an honesty bar for drinks in reception and 24hr coffee machine in the restaurant. The only downside is that after my massage there isn’t a changing room or shower to use so when on the day of check out to get a massage it’s awkward. Apart from that tiny issue I would highly recommend this hotel in Zurich. Also a roof top terrace that would be fabulous in good weather!
