Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the centre of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train. スタッフは皆フレンドリーで優しい。ベランダからの眺めも大変良かったです。チェックインした時大きなタルトケーキのサービスがありました！部屋は今まで泊まったホテルで最小の14平米でしたが、思っていたより広く感じました。いつでもコーヒー紅茶が頂ける部屋があるのは嬉しかった。室内のスリッパは清掃スタッフにリクエストするともらえました。

The rooms are immaculately clean, the staff is helpful and polite and the breakfast buffet has so many great choices. I highly recommend the half board option. For 20 euros more you get a gourmet dinner with soup, salad, a choice of two entrees and dessert with a cheese course. The menu for September 30 was a clear soup with vegetable dices and a cheese tart with a small green salad. There were two choices for the entree: grilled sirloin steak with a pepper sauce, gratinated potatoes and tomato clomart, or a Swiss dish with pasta, potato, cream sauce, onion and apple mousse. Dessert was creme brulee and assorted cheeses from the buffet. These were the best dinners of my 2 week trip.
