Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a chestnut tree. the room and shower were so clean. the pillows were soft, so we asked them for a little harder pillow, and they gave us a very good pillow in a 2 minutes🥰 the bed was so comfortable, the size of the room was perfect, and the view was awesome👌 the resepction girls were so friendly and kind and helpful, espical thanks to vivi( I am not sure about the full name😒) she was soooo helpful and always happy to help you🌸🥰 and the best in this hotel was the breakfast👌👌 . the location was perfect, 1 minute walk to the bus and tram station, and also you can walk to the city centre within 15 minutes 👌🥰 Hope we can come to switzerland again and stay in this hotel again 🙏🥰🥰

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The restaurant Alexander serves Swiss specialties and offers different Pizza varieties and delivery service in the hotel. Rooms are big, nice, clean and comfortable

The Wettstein hotel is located in a central residential quarter of Basel, 200 metres from the Rhine river, and offers you garage parking, free Wi-Fi and a free internet station.

All rooms have a cable TV, a large work desk and a free minibar with soft drinks and beer. The room was exceptionally clean, very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the fact that they had blackout curtains. The staff was extremely helpful, smiling, and courteous. The breakfast was very sumptuous. All in all, an excellent experience.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Like probably most people, I came there mainly cause of the price and this was my first stay at a hostel. I didn't expect much yet when I arrived I got much more than (I thought) I paid for. Destination is great, right next to both a tram and bus stop. Rooms had many beds but never felt crowded. We all got lockers for our stuff. Whole hostel was clean and had a cool urban vibe. Apart from the showers, there was also a community stove, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board... everything you would need. Staff was super friendly. Everyone could take free coffee or tea at the lobby and the buffet breakfast was only 8CHF per day, which is cheap for Swiss standards. And on top of all that, everyone gets the Basel Card which gives a bunch of amenities in the city. Oh and also, the receptionist, on the day I was leaving, had a cool hat.

The Hotel Victoria offers traditional hospitality and modern hotel comforts in the centre of Basel next to the main train station (SBB). You will be enchanted by the unique atmosphere of this stylish hotel. Excellent location outside main train station. 10 min walk from centre and Christmas Markets. Also if you are coming from Airport the tra sport is free with a hotel reservation. The hotel also gives you free transport passes to hop on and off the trams which are also outside the hotel.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. Location was perfect. Large room, fantastic bathroom, great brunch. Staff was very friendly.

The Basel Exhibition Centre can be reached by tram within 10 minutes. Super convenient to the train station. The room was very comfortable, and staff were wonderful

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Laptops with wireless internet access and printers are available for free. Extremely friendly personnel. Beautiful clean place!
