Featuring a restaurant, bar and a fitness centre, Quality Hotel Dickson is a 7-minute drive from both Canberra Centre and Australian War memorial. Free parking is available. I really have to mention the outstanding staff…the guy who checked us in was so incredibly caring, warm and friendly..he definetly derserves a raise. We had some parking issues because we arrived wiith a camper van and he solved it for us in such a great way…only because of this we will return to this hotel when we are in the area again. The room was clean and very well equipped with a microwave, fridge and utensils for 4 people. Thank you very much, you were wunderful!

Rooms are big, beds are comfortable, family friendly. Staff is always happy to assist and we love the close proximity to all the museums and typically where events are held in Canberra.

The room was amazing, clean, tidy well functioning and warm! We came upon this one as the previous hotel we’d booked for the 2 nights was so bad we left after the first night as couldn’t bear the thought I’d another one there. We turned up one or doorstep 5 hours before checkin to see if we could leave out bags there at least and the amazing woman after hearing our tale of the previous night magically found us a clean room and let us check in starlight away, 100% this will be out new go to when we come to Canberra.

The furniture and wall colors were stylish. It was great that the fireplace in the lobby had a real fire. Since we didn't rent a car, it was convenient that the Questacon and Parliament House were within walking distance. You can also walk to the Floriade shuttle bus stop. When we rented bikes, they brought them to the hotel, so we could go cycling. We rode our bikes to the Mint.
