Nicely heated in winter. Rooms are good size. Regretting just booking 1 night in Salzburg, shld have stayed for 2 nights instead. Breakfast is also good with fairly wide selections.

The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Was nice to have recommendations for a variety of restaurants. Great comfortable and spotless rooms. Breakfast selections were great and eggs made to order was a nice touch. Location is good, slight walk to the center but still well connected.

Family-run since 1912, the non-smoking, adults-only Bergland Hotel offers a quiet location in the centre of Salzburg, only a 10-minute walk from Mirabell Palace, the Congress Centre, and the main train station, and a 15-minute walk from the Old Town. Free WiFi is available. The gentleman who is taking care of this property, was an extremely kind gentleman. The breakfast they provided was vegetarian and it was lovely and delicious. The wifi they had was really good compared to few other stays I had in Austria. Overall, the people, the vibe of the place was very warm and welcoming.
