The rooms are fitted with a patio with garden views. Having breakfast outside with the birds chirping in the beautifull and relax setting was memorable.

Felt like home. :) We loved getting to know the owners and enjoyed a laid-back, nature filled vacation! Breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful. Would love to return soon.

Dinner is served on the lakeside terrace, in the restaurant, or in the winter garden. The exclusive restaurant, awarded from the Falstaff Gourmet Guide with 2 forks, offers an extensive wine list. Perfect lake getaway. Lawn and deck in the back gave excellent access to the lake. Lovely dining and lounging options, breakfast was a dream. Staff was personable and ever-present to refresh drinks as needed. Looking forward to coming back.

This individually designed countryside hotel offers 4-star comfort and features a private bathing place and a lakeside garden. There is also a sun terrace with a hot tub, a sauna and a relaxation room. What a great place to stay. This hotel is in the center of St. Wolfgang although I did have to ask a few people where exactly it was. This hotel is right on Lake Wolfgang. Breakfast was very good with Frau Stephanie handling the food service duties. Frau Patricia was often at the front desk and she was invaluable at giving ideas about things to do in the village. She is a gal that tells it like it is. Whatever she says, that's it. There were a couple of other ladies taking turns at the front desk that were also quite nice and helpful. Overall, the staff were excellent. The room was nice and modern. It's the kind of place where those little toiletries are in the bathroom, in case you misplaced something. I would certainly stay there again should I find myself in St. Wolfgang. ALSO want to mention that there is a great souvenir shop directly across the way from the hotel's front door (Name is Geschenke, address Markt 75). Good place to buy and bring back a few trinkets for the folks back home. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and well recommended.

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony.

All rooms are equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. The rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. I like the peacefulness. The location is a bit far from Markt, but it is close to the bus stop. The view was super! We booked the smallest room, and we got the one with a balcony, which is helpful for us as we were traveling with a child. I totally recommend this place.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. We had a great stay and found the Seewirt Zauner to be great value for money. The staff was very friendly and helpful and overall the experience was that of home comforts rather than a commercial hotel. The location is also second to none.
