Also the host was very helpful and caring when my wife was feeling cold she provided extra heater to our room to make it extra warmer. It was a nice gesture, thank you !

Renovated in 2015, this hotel in Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt in the Salzkammergut region offers panoramic views of the scenic lake and the Dachstein Massif. It features a garden with a pool and offers free WiFi access. The staff was very polite and helpful.The view of the room and the quality of the breakfast. Both my son and I enjoyed our stay. Also if you like you can swim in the pool, mind it is not heated, although it is rejuvenating 24 degrees celsius and the water was at 15 degrees.
