The staff were so kind and helpful and welcomed us with a bottle of champagne since it was our honeymoon. They helped us coordinate activities in the national park and provided transportation. It was overall a wonderful experience!

We enjoyed the spacious room, and the bed was very comfortable. Our room at the back of the property was quiet and we got some much-needed sleep after arriving from a stay in Chilean Patagonia where we were up early for hikes every morning. Juan on the front desk went above and beyond when we ended up having to leave our laundry behind at a local laundromat due to our misreading their opening hours. We were going to El Chalten for a couple of days, so on our return, just to El Calafate airport, he picked it up and sent it to us at the airport in a taxi (all arranged with him over Whatsapp).

Situated near El Calafate's Libertador Avenue, this 4-star boutique hotel boasts spacious accommodation with free WiFi access and great views of the El Calafate Hill and the Argentino Lake. The location is excellent—you can easily walk to the main street of the town. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the dinner at the restaurant was outstanding. Even before our check-in, they were available via WhatsApp to answer any questions we had. The rooms were comfortable and offered a lovely view of the lake and the surrounding area of El Calafate. The price was competitive compared to other hotels that may charge more while offering less. As a bonus, your stay includes access to the pool and sauna, which adds an extra touch of relaxation!

Schilling Hostel Patagonico is a hostel in the centre of El Calafate. It offers pleasant accommodation and free WiFi throughout the hotel. Staff was great, all of the where very friendly and helpful. They provided great recommendations and guidance with a very nice attitude. Breakfast is really good, very complete with different options. Very good location near the center.

Hotel Sierra Nevada is situated in the main street of El Calafate, offering views of Bahia Redonda and the Glaciers National Park. Rooms include a TV, and free Wi-Fi is available. The hotel is well located in the main avenue but a few blocks away from downtown activity, so it was quiet. Very close to the lagoon for very nice evening walks. Breakfast was a plus and started 6am, so it let us be ready for all our activities which started early. Staff friendly and willing to help with advice on what to do in the surroundings.
