Next to us was extremely noisy family without education and empathy to oters people around. We complained about their shouting and noise they were doing. They offered us another room. Then all was perfect. Hotel it's self is close to river and has really nice views

The hotel has an unforgettable atmosphere of old-fashioned hotels all over it. Plus, the guy at the reception (unfortunately, we didn't ask for his name) made our day with the heartwarming welcome and thought-through recommendations on how to get the most out of our 1.5 days in Coimbra.

Location was in the city centre. Location was sunny (large French windows), quiet and on a pedestrian side street. Access was with digital key pad. The hotel has a roof top terrace ( available to occupants of the Loft Apartments) with terrific views and on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed, we had drinks as the sun set. Reception staff were very helpful with suggestions on where to go, what to see and where to eat. The outstanding staff service was regarding locating the accommodation (we were in the Loft Apartments) and car parking (underground and€10 per day). They were next to each other and whilst less than 50m from the hotel, would have been a challenge to find the first time. The staff member guided us to the car park and then to the apartment and even helped us carry our bags as he was guiding us. Wi-Fi was excellent.

Only a 3-minute drive from the city centre, B&B HOTEL Cantanhede Coimbra offers spacious rooms with free WiFi and balconies. Free private parking is possible on site.

Exceptional experience in this amazing hotel. Calm and peaceful with beautiful facilities, a wonderful breakfast and overall some lovely touches I’ve never seen before. The staff were so lovely and efficient and helpful and happy!

This is the fourth time I have stayed at Hotel do Parque which speaks for itself. Maria is very helpful in providing lots of local information and the different cakes she bakes for breakfasts are wonderful. The property is a hundred years old and full of old fashioned character yet scrupulously clean with modern amenities. The accomplished pianist who plays some nights in the lounge is particularly special and adds to the atmosphere over glasses of the local Port. I thoroughly recommend this place for a stay... but please not if it stops me getting a room there!
