The location was excellent, a little away from the main centre but a lovely walk along the pebbled beach. There was a huge selection of foods for breakfast and the staff were always at hand to assist with any request. The room was breathtaking, we had an lakefront room which looked like it was out of a movie, I definitely recommend selecting that room! We used the hotel bicycles which was very fun and made it easy to get around Malcessine and allowed us to quickly commute between the hotel and the busier parts of the town. I cannot state how breathtaking the scenery is and the view from our hotel room, right up there with the best either of us have ever experienced.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, with a fantastic restaurant and staff. Especially the waiters - they were so friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Mauro, who made our dinners and breakfasts very enjoyable. We had vaguely mentioned that it was our honeymoon several months before our stay, but the staff remembered and upgraded our room and had a bottle of sparkling ready for us on arrival. 10/10!

We stayed in Villa Smeralda for five nights and absolutely loved it! The room was clean and we had a beautiful lake view. The breakfast was excellent and fresh every day! Staff members warmly welcomed us and gave us a lot of good tips on what to do in Malcesine. The rooftop terrace and the pool area were also wonderful! Location was reachable by walking from the port, the bus station and the old town. The lake and the beach is also easy to reach by walking.

Everything was perfect - in brief. The lake, the environment, the view - was captivating. Breakfast excellent, you can parking in front of your room - or nearby for free. Warm swimming pool outside besides the cold but beautiful lake. We has already booked a room for next summer.
