I have to say I liked every aspect of the country lodge. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The location was beautiful, the room was superb, the food was top notch, everything was superb!

The family owned 4-star Castlecourt Hotel is located in the heart of Westport. It offers live music and dancing every night, a 20-metre indoor pool, gym and spa and beautifully decorated rooms.

The hotel 's location is perfect for Westport and also conveniently located for any place you want to explore in beautiful county Mayo. The staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. We had a lovely room with a fourposter bed, the room was pristine. Breakfast was cooked on demand and the food was really of good quality. We did not use the restaurant so we cannot comment on the lunch/ dinner but if it is anything like the breakfast- it will be amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. PS. The mattress is the best one I have EVER experienced in a hotel. So comfortable, I even asked for the brand so that I can buy one for my home.

This is our second trip to this hotel. It is in a good location, with very helpful and friendly staff, nice rooms, and absolutely superb food. The menu is extensive and the quality is high. We will continue to come back here.
