Receptionist Dorotea was very friendly and helpful, the other receptionist whose name I don’t know was as well!The view from my room (apartment) was breathtaking, I could see the sea from the bed!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Allowed me to have a very early check in and went out of their way to be helpful (Luka). Luka’s help in particular is the reason for high score. The room was large and clean. The shower was amazing… very powerful. I loved the way the hotel had kept and worked around the original features such as the window shutters

My stay at Botel Marina was an absolutely wonderful and unique experience – I can't recommend it enough to anyone visiting Rijeka! First off, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of things yet offering a peaceful retreat on the water. While the boat itself is older, it's been charming and lovingly renovated, creating a truly special and inviting atmosphere. My cabin was admittedly miniature, but incredibly well-designed and cozy. It felt more like a cosy boutique hotel room than a boat cabin, which was a pleasant surprise! For me, cleanliness is paramount, and they truly exceeded expectations here. The room was spotless, the bedding fresh, and the bathroom was sparkling clean – white, mold-free, and no unpleasant odors, which is a huge plus and often hard to find. The small porthole windows let in plenty of natural light, adding to the lovely ambiance. I was genuinely surprised by the thoughtfulness of the room amenities. There was a TV, a kettle with tea, coffee, and even a little biscuit – small but significant touches that really make a difference and make you feel at home. Breakfast was outstanding! Fresh, with a wide variety of choices, including excellent vegan and gluten-free options. This attention to dietary needs is commendable and shows a real care for their guests. A special shout-out also goes to the staff and the parking arrangements. I had reserved parking in advance, and upon arrival, a staff member was actually waiting outside to guide me and ensure I parked smoothly in the marina. Even though the parking is outdoor and uncovered, I felt my car was perfectly safe. Overall, Botel Marina offers a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort, with a fantastic location and invaluable attention to detail. If you're looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Rijeka, look no further – this is it!

great staff, great pool, great suite, the view is really nice. you need 5min with car or 25 min walking (steep slope to get there) to find a spot to swim. The sea was clean.
