It was wonderful when we met how excellent their reception was a man from the hotel took all our luggage and showed all and said that a porter would meet us in the reception and had a wheelchair that my wife needed.to be able to get to our flight. Better than anybody could expect.

We stayed at Novotel for 3 nights, 2 of these nights were last minute as we could not make our onward journey due to bad weather. The staff were amazing, we arrived at the hotel quite a while before the check in time and were happy to wait but our room was ready within an hour of us arriving The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean The location is great, only a few minutes walk from the train station and located within a retail park with a great selection of shops and a McDonald's and TGI Fridays We didn't eat at the hotel but did have coffees which were lovely and not overpriced I would definitely stay in this hotel next time I am in Southampton

Brilliant place! My room, called Post Box, was on first floor in the building opposite the pub, with views to the pub and up Canon Street from a comfy chair. So quiet, so cosy, so luxurious! All very spacious, even an extra chamber with desk. Best shower ever. Breakfasts in the famous pub were delicious à la carte. Lots of history and beauty here, right on your doorstep. I stayed 5 nights, but wish it were 50.
