Lovely old hotel with exceptional staff. Great location near the train station. Room was very cold when I checked in but that was soon sorted once I mentioned it to Kristina at reception. Bar staff were great.

The room was large, well-equipped, and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and exceptionally well-trained. Breakfast is excellent. The pool and other spa facilities are free to guests. It's a short walk from the riverside and from the town centre. At the price I paid, this hotel represents outstanding value.

Awwwwwesoooome! The room is clean and well be cleaned daily. Cookies provided daily. Breakfast contains amount of choices like bagel+salmon or salmon+eggs (yet don’t know whether can order two or more once because I only order one). The location is really great as its in the town center and not far from the bus station. Some bar’s nearby.

Absolutely everything. The hotel was wonderful, with beautifully curated décor and attention to every detail. The owners were warm, thoughtful and always ready to help – it truly felt like being at home. Breakfast was delicious, served with a lovely view of the garden. I even want to try making that compote at home! The scent throughout the house transported you to a magical place, and the cleanliness was exceptional. They also have cozy lounges with fireplaces where you can enjoy a drink after a long day exploring the magical castles of Scotland. We will definitely return, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional and peaceful place to stay during their holidays.
