The design and location are stunning

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. The location is perfect - in the old town, but close to bars, restaurants, shops, harbour. Inside the building it has high ceilings, grand design and period features throughout, but it doesn’t feel old and stuffy…it’s spacious and classy. It also has a lovely courtyard to sit, eat/drink. On a practical note, it’s very clean and the beds/pillows are really comfortable plus the rooms are big and smell amazing too.

Lovely to have an individually designed room. We had the Japanese mini suite - a large room with sofa and TV. Also a sunken bath (which was quite difficult to get out of!) The patio area is gorgeous as as is the lounge area. It's a beautiful building and had a great vibe.

A lovely small boutique hotel, very quiet and great location. Rooms are more than adequate and extremely comfortable. Staff are so friendly and helpful.
