Beautifully furnished, cosy room among the mountains, breathtaking view from the balcony, fabulous breakfast and inspiring chatting with our host, Mark. We loved it!!

THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. amazing place! travelled on our motorbikes couldn’t of been made to feel more welcome. rooms are immaculate and breakfast was top class. staff were great. the owner couldn’t do enough for us.

Food was exceptional. Staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. Location perfect. Pool on the roof and the saunas were a nice luxury. The view was outstanding. We loved our stay and will be back. Thank you!

One of the best customer service ever seen. We noted that we are arriving with our dog. The owner asked us how big the dog is. When we arrived there was a made doggy bed in our room together with two bowls and even doggy treats. Really kind. Recommend

Plenty of parking space for free in hotels private area, super clean room and bathroom. Location is in the middle of the center of Bad Ischl, everything on walking distance in 5 min. Train/Bus station right next to the hotels entrance.
