fabulous hotel - eclectic furnishings, unique and a change from generic hotel chains! staff were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. Food was glorious too and late breakfast is super. the triple room was fabulous and super for our teenage son to have a proper bed not the usual flimsy sofa bed.

Dating back to 1838, Villa Solitude is situated next to the casino in the centre of Bad Gastein. It offers elegantly furnished accommodation with wooden floors and antique furniture.

Breakfast at Villa Solitude cost more than the actual accommodation stay !! It was a complete rip-off the prices they were charging.

We have been to Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein several times before and AlpenParks Residence Bad Hofgastein is the best accommodation facility we have used so far.
