In the reviews I read it said the hotel was like an oasis. I now understand why. It is magical! As we were being shown around, the only word I could utter was WOW! Beautifully and tastefully decorated, super friendly and attentive staff, a great location and an amazing breakfast - this is a hotel I will definitely return to. Norther Portugal is remarkable with so much to see and do, but sometimes just taking time to relax and enjoy the tranquility can be exactly what you need. This centuries old farmhouse just a few kilometers from the city of Guarda is a chance to get away from the stress of travel. The host met us on arrival and showed us in to this renovated and adapted farmhouse. Nice large rooms and bathrooms, a communal living room and dining area, and seating outside in the courtyard, all clean and tidy with centuries of history to explore. We honestly felt at home away from home, and chose to spend our time relaxing and wondering the fields around the farmhouse, rather than dashing off to see more of the country. I have to mention breakfast because it was fantastic, with everything grown or produced on the farm, other than the cheese which came from the neighbors. We will definitely be revisiting and taking more time to explore the area, with the farmhouse as somewhere to recharge with the welcoming and knowledgeable owners. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Staff is exceptional welcoming, friendly and helpful. Interior is clean, modern and comfortable. Location is a dream, because it is located at the harbor. The breakfast offers something for every taste and is prepared with attention to detail.

The wine tasting, the picnic near the river, the walk in the vineyards were awesome. The service in general was fantastic. Carlos told us so much valuable information about wines that was so interesting. The views were unbelievable. I liked also our room, its style, view, size, comfort, temperature - everything.

Overall, we loved everything here. I'm serious, it was perfect and met all my expectations and I spent some of the best days of my life here.

Everything was very nice. I can highly recommend this place. The staff was amazing. I highly recommend taking the ebikes, a fun and impressive way to visit nearby areas. The spa is also highly recommended. We felt taken cared of all the time, and everything was thought out down to the last detail. And the views!! Wow! We hope to come back!

Our stay at the Artcore Hotel in Porto was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the beautiful, modern décor—stylish yet warm, with thoughtful artistic touches throughout the hotel. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean, making it easy to relax after long days exploring the city. The well-stocked minibar was a pleasant surprise, especially the abundance of bottled water, which we really appreciated. And the complimentary sweets at reception were such a charming and welcoming detail! Breakfast was absolutely fabulous—plentiful, fresh, and beautifully presented, with options to suit every taste. Overall, Artcore Hotel exceeded all expectations. The attention to detail, comfort, and hospitality made our stay unforgettable. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto.
