Aside from being home to the world’s largest lagoon and second-longest double-barrier coral reef, New Caledonia also features a wealth of snaking shorelines and piercing blue waters. The entire territory consists of the main island of Grand Terre, the Loyalty Islands, the Isle of Pines and various sparsely-populated islands. Many tour groups provide diving excursions to the island’s UNESCO World Heritage coral-laden lagoon, where you’ll come face-to-face with the likes of butterfly fish, parrot fish and many more. A number of shipwrecks also line the barrier reef, most famously by the Amedee Lighthouse. Hikers should explore the Parc Rivière Bleu in the Yaté region south of Noumea, which features a variety of bird species, dense rainforest and enormous kaori trees. Inside, you’ll be able to choose from a range of walks lasting from 30 minutes up to six hours. Great view from our balcony. Right on the beach, which has a shark net. Plenty of parking. Very helpful staff who go the extra mile and spoke English very well. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Spacious room with fully equipped kitchen, which was great for enjoying cheese & wine from the local supermarket on the balcony.

The room was gorgeous and very big! They had everything I needed and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff at the reception was so extremely nice and caring. He made sure we were all set. We didn’t have a car so he was worried and organise transportation for us from the hotel to the bus stop the next day.

Ramada Hotel & Resort was very welcoming, polite and helpful when needed. The staff assisted us very good and was really good they spoke English. The Sports Bar and outdoor area is where we spent time enjoying our lovely breakfast,lunch and Dinner by the poolside. The Pool was perfect way to cool down and well looked after. Our Room had everything equipped with what we needed with a functional kitchen n good size fridge. Also bonus having an Air Con and Big Size Bed to relax and sleep after big day exploring.

The rooms are simple, yet they have everything you need. My room was cozy, comfortable and clean. Lovely people work at this property. Despite the language barrier they are very helpful, friendly and appreciative. They will always greet you with a smile.
The little white sandy beach at the front of the property is amazing, perfect for swimmig, snorkelling.

The hotel has the best location, in the center of Noumea, just a little walk from amazing beaches, where you can snorkel. Our room was big, could fit 10 people in it and the view was amazing. The room was well cleaned, it looks a little old but I think it's just the design.
