Location is more secluded than the other camps which you drive past so that is nice, you don't feel like you are on display. We went in August which was violently hot and the aircon only worked after dinner, along with wifi, but you can find some shade and sit there for the time being

Breakfast was quite good, but more important is that after I asked for another option rather than black coffee - the staff managed to come up with a solution and made a cup of Turkish coffee for me. In general the staff was incredibly helpful and met all of our needs. The room was quite spacious and clean. On top of it the hotel is just 4 minutes drive from Petra and we were given some tips and recommendations at the reception, which was very thoughtful. Thanks a lot, will definitely come back again!

Our stay in Wadi Rum Desert was the best we have ever had. The staff in the camp is very polite, kind, friendly, with good taste of humour and made us feel welcome from the 1st second. The bubble was clean and had everything we needed. We booked a 3hour Jeep Tour and the Bedouin dinner, which was super tasty! We loved the atmosphere around the campfire and we dance with the Bedouins and other guests.

Ayla’s camp hospitality is on another level.
Everyone went above and beyond to take care of us, organise our jeep adventures and be flexible with the timings.
The family environment made it enjoyable for my son who’s 3 years old and the camp tents were really comfortable too.
With so many camp options in the area, I’d recommend this camp.

It was a wonderful visit. We were welcomed at the meeting point they sent us and followed them with our car, but since it couldn’t drive on the sand, we parked it for free and they took us to the camp in a 4x4.
The welcome was warm with Arabic coffee, chocolate, and cold drinks. They showed us the tours they offer, and we chose a 4-hour desert tour with stargazing. At first, the sky was cloudy, but then it cleared up, and we enjoyed watching the stars with a cup of tea by the fire.
Dinner was exceptional, cooked underground. We’ll definitely come back if we visit Jordan again. One of the best experiences we’ve ever had.
