The house is absolutely stunning, full of history, charm, charachter and peaceful after a day out-a true haven to come back too.
Run and family owned, i was made to feel welcome and part of the family. Morning/afternoon coffee/tea with the hosts was super interesting. Thoroughly recomend this hidden gem on top of a hill🙂

I would just like to say all praises to the general manager, Cassandra, who made our stay exceptional. she’s a true example of a person who knows how to run a business. The resort is by far the most beautiful place that we ever been. Cassandra takes good care of people and good care of place.

The authentic Jamaican influence throughout the property depicting everyday life , culture and influences were appreciated as was the hotel tour conducted by Andre who took the time to explain the background of the hotel and artwork throughout. These local touches were hard to find in other resorts along the coast.
The staff were very friendly, polite and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them from ensuring our excursion went ahead after being potentially cancelled due to weather through to specially cooking food for me separate to the buffet as I have many dietary restrictions.
The property was very clean and well maintained. Staff could be continuously seen clearing tables and glassware as well as cleaning public areas. The pool and beach staff also made sure out needs were looked after. We appreciated the private beach area for guests only.
We were disappointed to have to leave but hope we can return one day.

LTU was a magnificent experience for us. The proprietor was amazing and ensured that our stay was well-spent. The rooms were comfortable.
I think the breakfast was exceptional. The presentation of the food was excellent and very delicious. Our waitress was also very attentive.

Honestly this was the best hotel we've ever visited (and we have been to some highly rated ones). Not because it was absolutely perfect - it is very new, two months old under the new management, so eg the internet reception was not always great in the room - but because how we felt there. Great staff with our wonderful manager Trifan that helped to make our stay the best possible, attention to detail and environmental protection, the beauty of the place, the incredible views, the calm, the nature around, the simple classic elegance of the designs without any brashness, the relaxed pleasant atmosphere... All that we love, and would come back for more.

Really nice hotel, the place was supposedly full but you’d never know! Felt like we were the only guests there. V peaceful. Staff attentive, pool great (and empty!), only had a few meals in but they were v nice.
