The personnel was very kind and helpful. The location is a bit outside of the city, but that is actually nice because it is more quiet. In addition, you can easily walk to the city or take a cheap shared taxi for 3 cedis.
At first I was a bit hesitant to book because there were so little reviews, but the guesthouse is just really new. That is actually nice. For example, there is good working warm shower and airco.
In addition, the breakfast was nice (proper coffee!) and you could also order delicious lunch and dinner.

The place is more then fantastic. The pool area is great , the staff was more than helpful. The owner is a lovely man who is always happy to help. When we complained about the TV not working as it should, he went out straight away and bought a new one for the room. The place was nice and quite. The children enjoyed the pool very much as it was always clean. The filters for the pool was constantly on the whole time they were in there. Something you don't get everywhere.
I will make it my first choice of stay whenever I visit Accra. I definitely recommend.

Great breakfast, REAL coffee in French Press and delicious cuisine in general, especially fresh fish with banku.
In general, I have visited many resorts in the close Busua area (as well as many other resorts in Ghana), but Afro Beach is genuinely something completely different. It is a unique combination of place (calm, quiet, untouched), housing (new and done thoughtfully with a passion), and personal (especially the owner - Francis - who is one of the most interesting people I have met). His motto (that he wants people to be happy) is not just a phrase. He can provide anything you want, also walking with you to a party in Busua or to Butre and so on and so forth.
So, don't hesitate to visit Afro Beach; even Francis' story and personality are entirely worthy of doing so.

I was welcomed into this gorgeous boutique hotel. I had to stay in Accra as I was unwell for a few days and just needed to rest and recuperate - this was was the perfect place to do just that- the team were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Also very conventionally close to the airport when it was time to leave. Thank you.
