After a long tour of Cabo Verde, it good to relax in the high of Fogo. Swimming pool, nice campaign around. Very peace full. Very comfortable bed. Nice and cool place. Efficient team. Featuring a bar and views of city, Santa Cruz Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo, 1.2 km from Praia Da Laginha. A hot tub and a car rental service are available for guests. This was the best accommodation we had in Cabo Verde (between S. Vicente and Sto. Antão). We stayed here first one night and on the return from Santo Antão we stayed 2 more nights. The staff is really great and friendly. The hotel has just a good size: 11 rooms. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable, hot water worked well as well as wi-fi. TV is more complicated but the staff will explain to you. There are two terraces, one at the reception level and one on the rooftop (where's also a hot tub - jacuzzi). Breakfasts were excellent, with eggs cooked on demand, good fruits and cereals, great coffee, cakes, etc. (and the staff here again so friendly). I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy some privacy, with few guests and to be just in the city centre. We were so happy coming back here after staying 8 nights in Santo Antão.

Facing the beachfront, Hotel Savana offers 3-star accommodation in São Filipe and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. Excellent location for eating and shopping in the beautiful town center. But TAKE CARE about the so-called Tourist Guides outside of the hotel trying to sell guided tours. I pre-payed ONE HUNDRED EURO for an agreed price of two-hundred euro covering a full guided round-trip on Fogo island including volcano visit. When walking up an volcano the guide told me being only participant that the walk was a change in schedule and the full price would be ONE THOUSAND EURO - and that he had access to a credit card machine. I decided to leave the minibus and walk all the way back to Sao Philipe. Next day the host of Hotel Savana told me that he is an authorized tourist guide and the he did NOT do anything illegal - believe it or not...

Kira's Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo. For a fee, Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. Everyone who worked there was so kind. We loved the location and the outdoor spaces. Close to beach and to good restaurants as well as the live music.

Featuring a restaurant, bar and views of sea, Barceló Praia Cape Verde is set in Praia, a few steps from Praia de Prainha. Very large and comfortable beds. Great location. Great breakfast.

Facing the beachfront, Black Mamba offers 3-star accommodation in Paul and features a shared lounge, terrace and restaurant. Absolutely authentic accomodation with excellent restaurant and very friendly personnel. Room was gorgeous, clean, comfortable and unique. Most highly recommended accomodation!

Palmeira Da Cruz EcoLodge features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Chã da Igreja. The hotel provides both free WiFi and free private parking. We really enjoyed our stay at Palmeira Da Cruz. It's a small paradise at Cape Verde with all the luxuries you could want. Facilities are very beautiful, breakfast and dinner where delicious, and the hosts where so kind!!

Featuring a garden, Casa da Djedja is located in Mindelo in the Sao Vicente region, 1.3 km from Praia Da Laginha and 600 metres from Torre de Belem. This is such a gem and the people are amazing with kind hearts and so helpful. It’s such a wonderful find in Sao Vicente !!!
