The kitchenette was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease – though, truth be told, we spent most of our time cooking outside. The outdoor braai area was perfect.and the wood-fired hot tub was the cherry on top – perfect for unwinding under the stars with a glass of wine in hand. The best part? The wildlife. From the comfort of our deck, we watched ostriches strut by, zebras grazing in the distance, and waterbuck meandering through the bush. It was like having our own personal safari without ever leaving the tent. This is glamping at its finest – all the immersion of the wilderness with none of the roughing it. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort.

The breakfast was delicious, and the view from the lodge was very beautiful — a sight I’ll never forget. We truly loved everything about our stay. In fact, I think this was the best accommodation I’ve experienced in the last two years of traveling. The owners, Mira and Jochen, are such wonderful people — warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A special mention to Nickolas, the chauffeur they arranged for us, who was also a genuinely lovely person. You all made this trip unforgettable. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience! This will be our first choice whenever we return. : )

We only stayed for 1 night on our way into the park, but it was a great stay. The hosts were very nice and helpful and met us on arrival. There was a small kitchen and BBQ out back. We had 3 twin beds which worked well for us. The price was great for the quality of accommodation, would recommend!

This is the place. Staff is super nice and helpfull. And its only 1h drive grom Orpen Gate. Perfect!
