This was a little cottage behind a home. It was easy to access and easy to come and go. It was filled with antiques and art which made it so cozy! We were visiting my daughter who lives in an apartment in Park Circle. We could walk to her place easily. The street Montague 3 min walk from cottage is adorable. There were a few shops and multiple restaurants & bars. Cute coffee shop & even a nail salon where we got a pedicure. If your visiting Charleston you would want a car, but for us we shared my daughters car. Hopefully we will be back! It was perfect for us! The hosts were very responsive & friendly. They had menus and brochures for Charleston & Park Circle places !

As soon as we got inside, it felt so cozy. The view is amazing from the back deck looking onto the lake, and the screened in porch was perfect for coffee and breakfast this morning. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook a nice meal for dinner. Lots of seating throughout and plenty of sleeping room. It was perfect for just us as a couple, but I would be happy to have had family there as well. This lake house exceeded our expectations. I would have loved to take the kayaks out, but our timing did not allow. We will be coming back in the future!
