Don't sleep on this place, it is absolutely magical. The women who we interacted with (who ran the place?) were very kind and relaxed. The taxi from the ferry dropped us off at the wrong place (Bang Magkok) and the women at Baan Bua came and got us! We also accidentally locked our key in the safe, and again they rescued us. The food they serve is AMAZING. The atmosphere is AMAZING. They had all the small touches like towels, a cover up and a beach blanket in a wicker bag for us to use (free). Air conditioner works amazing. Bed is so comfy. Room is large. Extremely clean. We stayed at another hotel after this, and despite that hotel being directly on a gorgeous beach... we STILL loved Baan Bua more! Just make sure you can ride a motorbike because you will need them to get around (they're automatic transmission and 250 thb rental from them a day). We rented 2 and it didn't take us long to travel to the various beaches. I have traveled a lot around the world, and this hotel is in my top 10 for sure. THANK YOU BAAN BUA!

Featuring garden views, Chalee Guest House provides accommodation with a balcony, around 2.5 km from Klong Chao Waterfall. This place exceeded my expectations! It is surrounded by beautiful garden and located inside the island in the jungle. We had a beautiful nature experience. The host Chalee is super nice and served delicious breakfast every morning, sometimes with fresh coconut and fruit from the garden or homemade yogurt. We rented a motorbike directly from him, it is necessary for the whole time. The bungalows are new and spotless clean with daily cleaning. The space is a bit tight, I would struggle with big luggage. But it is perfect for budget travellers. The bed was a bit hard for me, but I could get used to it after few nights.

Boasting quiet street views, Suanthara kokut offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around less than 1 km from Ao Ngamkho Beach. The inside was nicely decorated, clean and very cute. The bed was comfortable. The owner was extremely kind and generous. Since I couldn’t drive a motor bike she offered to drive me where I wanted to go each day and pick me up. She even took me places that she wanted to recommend to me or to take pictures of me there.

Boasting a garden, Heal KohKood is situated in Ban Bang Bao in the Koh Kood region, 1.1 km from Takhian Beach and 11 km from Klong Chao Waterfall. Best place for us in koh kood 🌊🐚🐠 the family that run the hotel is adorable, they take care of 4 or 5 very elegant bungalows and they are just adorable. Bungalows are 40meters from the street so you won t hear motorcycle noise, everything is new and charming (I am not sure if it s scandinavian style or what but that style with a lot of white and a little bit of light brown wood). Hot water never run out and the room was protect from insects! A/c working perfectly. Brakfast was huge but above all we loved the owners.

Set in Ban Bang Bao, near Takhian Beach, Khlong Hin Beach and Ao Jark Beach, Gecko House Koh Kood has a garden. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Beautiful, comfortable, plenty of storage space, and space to rest and have a nice evening as well. The staff is very friendly and quick to respond. One beautiful surprise were all the fireflies in the surroundings. Great place for a restful break.
