Semesterhus Dalälven is a recently renovated holiday home in Sala, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. We had a wonderful stay at this premium house. The owner is incredibly polite—a truly wonderful gentleman who made us feel welcome from the very start. It was a great place for the whole family, including our pets, and the neighborhood was peaceful and friendly. The house is very well insulated, and the wood stove provided more than enough heat to keep us warm throughout the night. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with everything you need, making cooking easy and enjoyable. There’s also a wonderful library next to the stove—perfect for relaxing with a good book by the fire. The location is scenic and absolutely beautiful. During our visit, we spotted moose, wild pheasants, deer, foxes, and even many migrating birds in November. Exploring the surroundings was a delight—we even discovered a rune stone and a gorgeous river with a natural bridge. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Beautiful outdoor seating spaces, possibility to use the boat to go to the lake, indoor fireplace. Charming house, comfortable bed, living room bigger than it looks on the photos. Great place if you want to check out the surroundings, there are some nice breakfast and restaurant options close to the house, that our hosts recommended us. Very welcoming hosts, easy check in, hosts warmly welcomed us! Can recommend this place, I would come back any time :)

This lovely little Swedish cottage is in a beautiful location. The views are amazing and it is so peaceful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer. It is the perfect place to relax, surrounded by nature and a chorus of birds. The sun terrace is the perfect place to have a rest. We would love to come back one day. Nils always responded promptly to our messages and was very helpful. We loved the self-check-in, as we didn't feel any pressure coming from the airport and not knowing exactly when we would arrive. The location is also perfect as there are many nature reserves to explore within a 30 - 45 minute drive.

The Apartment is huge! Lots of space, with everything you could need in the kitchen. We even went for a dip in the lake. Hosts welcomed us on arrival and were lovely. Information sheet on the table with all the wifi details etc. Very easy transition.
