Everything is so tastefully done,fresh linen every day which was lovely to come back to. The host just couldn't do enough for us to make us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious and anything we requested or needed was on the table the next day. We will definitely come back and stay as it was just perfect in every way.

Visiting the Douro region I found the best thing to do is to stay here. You will experience everything Douro region has to offer! Throughout your visit you will experience several tasting of the excellent portwines of the house. And staying there you don’t need to drive anymore. (Large carpark). There is a joint drink followed by a communal dinner. The food is excellent and portwines are used in the food as well. It’s a very nice to socialize with other guests. There is a lovely swimming pool with nice seating area overlooking the wineslopes. Rooms are spotless, very comfortabel and atmospheric. Last but not least: there is a beautiful 2 hour hike from the premises through the winefields with magnificant Douro riverviews from high above! This all makes for an unforgettable experience! We were looking for a hotel to celebrate our first anniversary, and it was important for us to find a pet-friendly place. We came across this hotel and immediately loved how it looked in the photos. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised — everything was even more beautiful, stylish, and authentic than we had imagined. We were so impressed by the quality: the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, the bed linens were luxurious, everything felt like a true five-star experience. The towels were large and fluffy, and there were cozy blankets thoughtfully placed for guests to wrap themselves up while enjoying the balcony. They even provided sun hats for strolls through the vineyards — such attention to detail made everything feel so special. Waking up to the sound of birds singing in the morning was pure magic. It brought back nostalgic memories of childhood visits to our grandmother’s house in the countryside — so peaceful and heartwarming. One of the highlights of our stay was the authentic family dining room. Leonor shared a bit of its history with us, showing us portraits of her grandparents who once owned this quinta. It felt like such an honor to have breakfast in that room, gathered around one big table with other guests, like one big family — it was truly a unique and lovely experience. We left feeling completely recharged, having explored the beautiful surrounding areas as well. Leonor even sent us a thoughtfully prepared PDF with recommendations for sightseeing, lunch, dinner, and some local history, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We are incredibly grateful for this experience — it was everything we hoped for and more!

Probably the nicest people we have ever met! On our way to the property, my wife injured her ankle and they literally drove to us, picked us up and brought us to their property… Such kindness. The room is basically a separate residence on their property and was incredible. They have a balcony to sit on in the evening and you can walk up to the roof and watch the sunset where there is another set of chairs and table. When we showed up, they had a cold bottle of white wine, waiting for us and in the morning brought us fresh bread for breakfast with homemade jams. I wish we lived closer so we could adopt them as grandparents 😁😁
