The Lodge was beautifully set in the forest area. It was very modern and cozy inside, everything worked perfectly and the owner was extremely helpful. You can see all the wildlife around- monkeys, frogs, sloths and a lot more. It’s a perfect place to relax and rest.

In the middle of nature. Wonderful flora and fauna (saw sloths, monkeys and so much more!). Also such easy, quick and helpful communication with the owner Jennifer. She will help you with anything you may need at any moment of the day!

I loved the accommodations! Very clean, very cozy and all the essentials were made available. I loved the sounds of the howler monkeys, the local song birds (and yes, the roosters too!) and the torrential rain that came one night.

The house was very well decorated and finished to a high standard. The reef around it was beautiful, we seen a spotted eagle ray, octopus, moray, barracuda, toadfish, and more while snorkelling. Very peaceful, the owners live close by and stocked up the mini fridge within minutes of us asking. There was also the offer of breakfast and a 3 course dinner, which we didn't take, but in hindsight, might have made the trip even better. Wonderful 2 nights and would highly recommend. There was drinking water provided, warm showers, a toaster and a gas hob and the hosts were in contact before and during my visit, so i could find out anything i needed to know in advance.

It was a magical experience to wake up to the sounds of birds and fall asleep beneath a starry sky. Chalet Tropical is an experience more than just a place to stay. This is what you're searching for if you want something genuinely genuine, soul-stirring, and unforgettable. We were inspired, at ease, and already daydreaming about going back.
