Absolutely beautiful accomodation with great attention to detail. The accomodation is located just a minutes walk to the souk, resteraunts etc. Staff are so kind, helpful and attentive. It really was our favourite place to stay in the whole of Oman.

It’s a beautiful place with a very friendly owner. He invites you to his home for dinner and breakfast, where everyone eats together on the floor in a traditional way, which is very nice. The room was clean and comfortable, and in the morning we could enjoy the sunrise right from our bed. Definitely recommended!

This place is a a family-run business where you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just a visitor. The owners, a local Omani family, have been opening their home to travelers for three years, and they’ve created something really special. The property includes a villa available for rent, offering a cozy, home-like atmosphere. There’s no restaurant, but the villa has a fully equipped kitchen where guests can cook, and the host can provide breakfast if needed. The villa itself is new and well-kept, with only a few minor unfinished details (like some visible cables on the walls), but nothing that takes away from the experience. The best part? The garden. The owner has planted an incredible variety of trees, bushes, and flowers—some of which aren’t even native to the region—and many of them bear fruit. It’s a beautiful, peaceful space to relax. There are also two small pools, though it would have been nice to have separate towels for swimming (which they don’t provide). The place has a bit of a farm-like feel, with animals that are clearly well cared for. But what really makes this stay special is the hospitality. The owner is warm, welcoming, and truly makes you feel at home. If you prefer staying in a cozy, family-run place rather than a standard hotel, this is the perfect spot. For me, it’s the best accommodation in Nizwa—and maybe even in all of Oman

Amazing location, right at the beginning of W6 trail and very quiet at night. Only a bit difficult to reach if you don't have a AWD/4x4 car. Super nice area to enjoy a barbecue/bonfire. Be aware there is no wifi and signal is limited (not a problem if you are aware of it).

Our host Ali was wonderful : shared tips / places to visit, was available and super friendly. The house is simple but comfortable and clean. The fire pit is great for gatherings. The vue is beautiful day (mountain) and night (stars).

The place is absolutely great. The location in the garden is perfect, close to the old city as well as restaurants. The general location in Al Hamra is great for visiting Jabal Shams, Nizwa, Al Misfat, Snake Canyon. The host was super friendly, all things were clean and ready to use. On arrival we were taken on a short tour of the city and to see the sunset. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped including water and fruits for us. It is a perfect place for a family as it has 3 bedrooms (king bed in master bedroom and 2 rooms with two beds each) Each bedroom has its own bathroom. One indoor living room and 2 places to gather outside. This is really a place you want to stay when you visit Oman and when you want to experience its hospitality and spirit.
