We stayed in a lovely chalet that had everything we needed. Cozy, clean, with all the essentials (hot water, towels, tea, drinking water) — it was clear that everything was prepared for us with care. And of course, the view of the valley and mountains was breathtaking, with the city lights sparkling below at night. You can enjoy tea while sitting in comfortable chairs looking at the mountains, or go for a walk in the company of cheerful dogs. A special thank you for the wonderful food - delicious momos and kombucha, breakfast with homemade bread, jam and strong coffee - simply perfect. The place itself feels like a whole community. There is even a school here where children, including girls, are taught for free an amazing and very important mission. Kundun’s family are kind and genuine people, and you can feel it from the very first meeting. Wishing you prosperity and all the best, thank you for everything!

The cottage was very cosy and had electric blankets, a gas heater, tea & coffee making facilities, the hot water in the bathroom worked well, the food was tasty, staff were welcoming, there were vegetable gardens and fruit trees everywhere, 2 friendly dogs and a hot jacuzzi that really hit the spot after a day out walking in the Shivapuri National park

Sun Rise Cottage es un alojamiento muy bien situado en el centro de Katmandú que ofrece wifi gratis, jardín y parking privado gratis. Such a calm and peaceful stay at this lovely family-run hotel. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and the room service was spot on. You can truly feel the care they put into everything. Its a heaven for dog lovers. Would absolutely recommend.
