Picking up the key was easy and the host was very friendly. Yes it’s a winding drive up the mountain so you need a car but that is part of what makes it so spectacular. Amazing views from the home! Mountains and waterfalls! Warm and cozy with a nice wood burning fireplace. Comfortable bed. Fully furnished living room was so cozy after a long day of exploring Nicely stocked large kitchen is perfect for preparing meals …And a wonderful jetted tub! Only 2 of us so we never even used the two bedrooms upstairs but this would be a wonderful place for families or friend get together. Also has a washer so it was great to clean everything after a weeks worth of hiking! The town is close by ( about 10 min drive) so everything is convenient. Would recommend that you book this beautiful home in a heartbeat!

There was absolutely nothing to complain about. Nils is a fantastic host who was always available with help and advice. The holiday home was a wooden dream. Plenty of space for a family of five with little rascals. The amenities left nothing to be desired. But the best part was the location—right on Lake Jølster, with a private boat and swimming area, yet not too isolated. You could reach Skei, with its shopping options, in a five-minute drive or a 20-minute walk. The weather—with 10 days of sunshine and nearly 30°C—was the proverbial icing on the cake. At times, we felt like we had accidentally driven south toward Italy instead of heading north to Norway.

A wonderful place. Very hospitable hosts, cleanliness and comfort at the highest level. We stayed here for a few days. Very convenient and enough time to visit Trolltunga in one day, go to Bergen, take a walk to the four waterfalls in Kinsarvik, and visit the glacier on the recommendation of the hostess. The views from the cabins are simply stunning! You can order croissants and morning coffee on the balcony - it's simply unforgettable! I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Nestled in the Flåm valley just 3 km from Flåm train station and the stunning Aurlandsfjord, these cottages enjoy valley views from their porch terraces. Perfect spot. Very comfortable, great views, privacy. Highly recommended.

Our hosts were so kind and helpful. We were late checking in and they were very accommodating. They gave us information about close hiking trails and were helpful with weather information and road conditions. We loved it so much we wished we could stay longer.
