The hosts are very kind and helpful. The language barrier is no problem for them at all. And with a bit of luck, you might even get to enjoy some delicious raspberries from the garden. It’s also a great base for car trips (for example Kaunas about an hour’s drive), and there are a few interesting spots to explore in the nearby area as well.

Everything was perfect - had a lovely weekend stay! The house is super clean, has everything you could think of, very romantic and comfortable. The lake is beautiful, brimming with fishies. Highly recommend, will definitely come back in the future 🫶

We felt comfortable from the first minute we arrived. The place was clean and comfortable, the surroundings aesthetically pleasing, the hot tub divine, the pool exquisite. There were even books to read and board games and even video games to play (and childrens' toys stashed away) - just to showcase the amount of thought given to the hospitality of our hosts! The hosts have put a lot of effort and forethought in this place and the experience there. Also we saw a deer with her young, saw a field mouse near the fireplace and heard a lot of birds and hedgehogs rustling in the bushes - the remote location is also perfect for getting in touch with nature.

The heated pool, the surroundings, the area, the hot tube and sauna and lake. Amazing place to be at. I just wish we would have more time - next time!

Perfect location 2 minutes from the highway, wonderful terrace and interior design, has air conditioning and a fast wi-fi, comfortable mattress, beautiful loft. Accepts dogs with no extra fee. We will be back again. The sound of the birds while sitting on the terrace in the morning is a perfect example of an experience in this beatiful house. Extra plus is that you have everything you need in the bathroom and the kitchen.

It has it all what You missed for, or maybe, what You never got to experience in Your life. If You're Lithuanian, You'll be reminded here about Your heritage, about the good old days spent at the grannies' in Lithuanian village, surrounded by fields, forests, where Your TV is wildlife in action and Your only worry is to hope stronger wind will not ruin stork's nest. If You're from abroad, this place will teach You the most beautiful things about Lithuanian nature. You'll get to hear the ancient sound of gray winches, very rare bird (lat. Grus Grus), which used to wonder the woods and fields of Lithuania for centuries. When bathing in outdoor jacuzzi, You will be greeted by an orchestra of very rare frogs with red bellies. Their house is right next to where You'll stay, as they live in a swamp, which also happens to be in a corner of the territory. What a memorable sight! When writing this review, I realize there are so many more great things to mention, such as how well equiped the stay was, how comfortable lounge chairs You get outside, or how loud You can dance according to the favorite music of Yours, because there are no neighbours around. If You read this review until this point, just book the place. It's majestic and worth of every penny!

Located 41 km from Hancza Lake, Gazdų Vandens Malūnas provides accommodation in Navininkai with access to a steam room. This was my mom’s childhood home so it was deeply meaningful to be there and to see the exceptional restoration and care the current owners have given to make it a place of beauty, history and serenity. Loved it. A dream come true. Delicious breakfasts.

Rezidencija Grįžulo ratai offers a modern-style countryside retreat 10 km outside Marijampolė city centre. Everything. Room was big and clean, staff was pleasant. On the second floor there is table football, breakfast included was delicious. Located right beside the motorway and is linked to a petrol station. Very beautiful view from the window, right onto the tower :). Despite the fact that this place is right beside the motorway, it was very quiet at night. 10 out of 10. Definitely will come back again.
