The building was very well designed it was a historical site. We liked the area it was in which was very beautiful. The staff was quick to reply to us and it have all the amenities one needed. The guide with it was very helpful when exploring Johana. We had booked to go to Shirokawa-Go but Johana was much better and the accommodation exceeded our expectations.

The place is perfect for a relaxing peaceful stay. Isurugi station is five minutes away and there is a convenience store nearby.

There were a few cozy corners allowing use to sit down chat and enjoy the view. The kitchen and bathroom is well equipped with the necessities. The host is attentive and kind, making sure we are warm and comfortable. He was also helpful in answering our questions and available whenever we need to find him. Other than that, he gave us much privacy. Would not hesitate to choose Makoland again if we ever go back to Toyama. The warmth of the house made my stay in Toyama enjoyable.
