The facilities were exceptional with a nice LARGE bath, plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. Owner was very caring and filled the fridge with delicious local food, including the legendary Okayama Pione grape. Will come again next time we need to stay at Okayama!

The machiya has been beautifully renovated and has got all the modern amenities one could expect. Everything is new and very refined. Staff at the nearby gallery is kind and attentive, and provided instructions in English about every aspect of the house and stay. Delicious bread, jam and fruit provided everyday for breakfast. The location is perfect, right at Bikan hostorical quarter and within walking distance from Kurashiki Station, making it the perfect base for exploring the entire Okayama area.

Great location near lots of great food. Walking distance from Aeon mall. Warm (he has double glazed windows which are rare in Japan) Very comfortable beds and pillows. Just abt everything you could need in a location.

Kurashiki şehrinde bulunan ve Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park noktasına 3,4 km, Tanematsuyama Park noktasına 5,8 km mesafede bulunan Former Yoshidaya Hikonana Residence, a Registered Tangible Cultural... This traditional Japanese home was very comfortable. There are lots of airconditioning units so it was comfortable even when cold outside. The host was so very kind and generous. We were lucky to meet him in person. There is a coffee shop nearby that opens at 6am and many convenience stores as well as a supermarket in walking distance. We had a vehicle and the host arranged parking for us.

Daitsu-ji Temple noktasına yaklaşık 2,4 km mesafede yer alan ve dağ manzarası sunan 自去来 tesisi veranda ve su ısıtıcısı olanağı ile konaklama imkanı sunar. This was the loveliest property we stayed at in Japan. Very spacious, fantastically equipped, beautiful traditional decor, reasonable price. The location is maybe a little out of the way for public transport but great if travelling by car. The town itself is traditional and full of character and the surrounding countryside is lovely. We hope to go back for a longer stay one day.

A million dollar view. Short walk to the ferry. All the solitude one might need for a life changing meditative experience. The island is beautiful, a special place for sure.

Super friendly staff, they left towels out at the entrance when they found out we were arriving after rain. Very well stocked kitchen with all crockery as well as sauses and condements. The house was beautiful and very clean. It's located right next to the old town so it's ideal for exploring Kurashiki. They had a good projector which we used to watch TV.
