Popotel 2 KURA is situated in Matsumoto, 29 km from Canora Hall, 1.1 km from Matsumoto Castle, as well as 32 km from Suwa-Lake. The place was easy to find. The location was excellent. The amenities were well thought out. Everything was labelled well. It felt like home. The beds were firm but comfortable. We all slept well. The host was very responsive and to top it all off he allowed baggage storage.

We had an excellent stay, the photos of this place do not do it justice it’s incredible staying in this beautiful piece of history. 150-160years old with modern toilets & kitchen and a beautiful wooden bathroom with lovely wooden plunge tub. Checkin was a breeze with the owner who was very lovely and walked us through the entire place with care. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We have a variety of beautiful and well appointed chalets, located in prime areas centered around the Happo ski resort in Hakuba. We loved our stay at MORINO Chalets, everyone was so helpful. The suggestions and advice, drop offs and pick ups by MORINO were fantastic. House was warm, excellent amenities and perfect for a restful and fun filled Japanese ski holiday. Hakuba is magical.
