She makes excellent breakfast, and we engaged in a lot of conversations about the attractions in Biei and where to go in the region. She even kindly offered me to join her shopping at a local supermarket and then drop me off at the train station when I checked out. The location is a 30 minute walk from the station. Quite far, but very relaxing if you want to do a slow-living lifestyle in a relaxing area like Biei 😄. I’m glad that I decided to stay here, it really made my experience in Biei a lot more memorable! P.S. The hotel has a Shiba Inu dog name Coro-chan. He is a very good boy, don’t forget to treat him well!

The location was wonderful and the hosts were the best people ever! It is such a tranquil place where one can really relax and enjoy the charm of the Japanese countryside. Getting there is easy by car and it's the perfect place to explore the Abashiri area from. The breakfast and the kaiseki dinner that the host prepares are to die for!!! Everything is locally sourced and seasonal and it was really the best home cooked meal we have ever had. If you want to experience true Japanese hospitality and the nicest people ever, we highly recommend you stay here! We are looking forward to experience Anima no Sato during summer as well.
