Nakaya House, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Miyajima, 200 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, 400 metres from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as less than 1 km from Daisho-in Temple. Staying in this traditional old Japanese house was a fantastic experience. The accommodation featured four comfortable Western style single beds across two bedrooms, providing a refreshing change from the small hotel rooms we had been staying in. Having the entire house to ourselves complete with traditional dining room, two toilets and a private bathroom made our stay even more enjoyable. The host who lived in the front house was incredibly welcoming and spoke perfect English, which made everything even easier. The island itself is a wonderful place to visit and once the crowds leave, it becomes even more special as you get the chance to explore at your own pace and capture the stunning scenery in peace.

Situated conveniently in the centre of Hiroshima, b hotel Wanoyado Kanayama - Entire House Stay Japanese Style with 2 Baths offers a patio, air conditioning, free WiFi and TV. Loved how accessible the property was, it’s huge inside and all modernized with multiple bedrooms and toilets and showers. Felt like a luxury stay. Although it only had a few reviews all of them are true that this place is an amazing find!!!
