It is a truly one of a kind accommodation. It is situated in a very quiet and pleasant town away from city noise and it is combined with a vinyl and old CD listening experience. You can listen to whatever you like in a spacious house and you can buy the records afterwards (so we did!). The owner was really friendly and speaks English very well. He was kind enough to drive us to Magome-juku town as we couldn’t find a way ourselves.

Our arrival time turned out to be almost 12am, we have messaged and informed the host, she was really kind, she stayed up and waited for us. She helped us to call the car rental service to make alternate arrangements and suggested safer routes for us to go Shirakawago the next day and route to return to Tokyo. House was spacious and clean, especially recommend for families.

The house was spacious. The authenticity and the cultural experience of staying there. Beautiful art everywhere you looked.

The host met us at the train station upon arrival and helped us get settled in. The house is in a fantastic location and provided a unique experience. The house is big and has everything you need. There is a bento breakfast delivered each morning. 100% would recommend staying here!

Renovated in 2015, IORI Stay HIDA offers accommodation in Hida. This traditional Japanese-style townhouse boasts designs with both modern and traditional Japanese influence. Stunning property on a beautiful street of Hida! We arrived at around 6pm and only stayed for 1 evening. Wish we had stayed for an extra night.
