Featuring accommodation with a private pool, Morika Villa is set in Rua. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Very large, spacious villa with separate bedroom and living/dining/kitchen area. The view was just stunning and the villas are perfectly positioned for sunrise which I managed to wake up early enough to catch and was well worth it. The staff were incredible, super helpful, helped me book and tailor activities to my preference. On the last day, there was a bit of a stress with my driver for the airport being very late - they more than made up for this by taking care of checking me in for my flight, having a staff member wait for me at the airport and even upgraded my seat. Prefect stay and I will return for much longer!

Located in Matawai in the Sumba region, Praikamarru Home Stay features a balcony. It is set 2.5 km from Padadita Beach and offers private check-in and check-out. Praikamarru Home Stay is located on the edge of a traditional village. Here you can see the Ikat weaving process, beautiful Marapu traditions and architecture and general village life. Eddy, the host has a lot of knowledge he can share because he grew up there. The room has views over the horce racing track. It’s very clean and comfortable.

Located in Rua in the Sumba region, Sumba Voyage Villa features a garden. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the villa free of charge. The room was new, spacious, and very clean. The owners are incredibly kind and love their dogs (and puppies!) - dog lovers will feel right at home here. There’s no AC, but the cool nights made it perfectly comfortable. The Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection was strong. And the food… absolutely amazing - probably the best we had in all of Sumba! Don’t miss their famous lobster soup!

Well-rounded, tasty and healthy farm breakfast to fresh grilled fish dinners in an environment that reminds me of being in a tropical farmland adjacent to wilderness open oceans alive with abundance. To top it all off, the friendly and family-style hospitality is 2nd to none. with the owner providing genuine empathy, local authenticity, and an understanding of tourism and transportation logistics in these remote lands.

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of sea, Sumba Farm House is located in Patiala Bawa, 2.4 km from Watu Bella Beach. This country house provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. This place is incredible, a lodge tucked away in nature with a breathtaking view of the rice fields and the sea in the distance. So peaceful, pure bliss! Julia, the owner, and her team are extraordinary, so charming, their smiles, kindness, and warmth made our stay unforgettable. A scooter was made available so we could explore the surroundings freely. A true gem! A pure moment of tranquility and peace.
