We love everything about Mares Homestay!!!! The location is peaceful and close to amazing spots. The room was new and with all the necessary, comfy bed, extra mattress for the terrace, hammock, sun bed, to hung all the wet clothes, tables, chair, mosquito net… The bathrooms were always clean, both with shower. You can find a little village 5 minutes walking where everyone is friendly. They super welcome us, we were lucky and dance with them traditional Papuan music. So much fun!! 🤩 The food was plenty and delicious, we had special meal for Christmas!! They separated the portions and cook different plates every time. Apart from breakfast, lunch and dinner they will bring cakes at afternoon. Water, tea & coffee all day. Electricity from 6 pm to 6 am. But the best about Mares is Luky, the owner and his beautiful family. Everyone is happy and friendly. We love to meet them. Luky is a super host and he speak really good English. Don’t miss his tours! We snorkel 🤿 with at least 10 mantas!!! And we were there alone! We saw the eagle ray, the Wobbegong shark 🦈 and beautiful corals. We explore Pyanemo, Melissa’s garden, Rufas súper relax… At night we really enjoy the ride to other island to meet the Coconut 🥥 crabs 🦀 Also he is an amazing boat driver! He took us safe and pick up on time. Communication was smooth during months on WhatsApp! We found a friend in Raja Ampat! Hopefully we can come back soon!!! We were lucky because “Luky” is very lucky 🍀 maybe because he is always happy!!!! 😃 We love his energy!!

This homestay on Besir island is ideally located near several interests spots in Raja Ampat. The place is calm, only two cabins on the water, connected to a village full of charm. The utilities are on the beach, near the owner's house. It's very clean and has everything required to answer basic needs. Regarding the rooms, mosquito net on the bed, fan, electricity at night, blankets, hammock, sunbed and basic furnitures. All the meals (included in the reservation) are served to your cabin, they vary and are prepared by an great cook! So everything is tasteful and good. No connection except if you get a SIM card on arrival at Sorong's airport but deconnection is great. It's easy to communicate with the owner who speaks well English (rare in Raja Ampat) and he tries his best for you to have the best stay possible. Him and his family are super nice and welcoming while respecting your privacy. I came with a friend and we stayed 3 full days, we had an amazing time there and we can only recommend this place. All the activities we've done through them were memorable, we had a lot of fun. Have a good holiday there!

Efenli Arnes homestay, Yennanas Besir şehrinde bulunan bir tesistir. Tesis bünyesinde özel park yeri mevcuttur. Efenli Arnes homestay tesisindeki konuklar Asya usulü kahvaltının keyfini... The homestay is idyllic and secluded. We were right on the water, the porch is nicely decorated, there's a table and chairs so in the evenings we could easily play cards. In the day, if we weren't diving with Corepen (they come and collect you and drop you off), we would snorkel on the coral reef in front of the homestay which is fantastic! We saw a turtle, ray, squid, clown fish, a shark etc. All three meals are included and Lina's cooking is amazing. We would eat fresh fish everyday. Portion size is very generous so you won't be going hungry. Lina and Arnes are so kind and gentle hosts we couldn't recommend this more. Their English is very limited so just make sure you download a translator app if you don't have data (there's no WiFi). The amenities are basic and you get electricity from around 6:30pm-10:30pm but for us, this only added to its charm. When we passed other homestays, we were always grateful for picking Efenli.

I want to start by saying, if you want a resort style holiday then this is not it. This is a homestay, one of the best in the area, with basic or above basic facilities (toilet without mechanical flushing, shower, bet with net, electricity 6 PM to 6 AM, fan and in the future air conditioner). You get an amazing reef (fish, turtles, occasional octopus and black tips), 20 minutes walk to the village with shops (beer, sodas, cookies and noodles), great exercusions, all very reasonably priced. Food is ok (rice, vegetables and fresh fish). Overall, I definitely recommend it if you want to have a great experience and not pay resort like prices.

Turtle was our best homestay on entire vacation. Hut is so nice and food is amazing. People where very kind. They have a kus kus who comes for bananas in the night that was the best thing ever ! That small bear is so cuuuuuutee !
